Our Japanese Shirasaya Katana sword features a 27" blade. The overall length of the sword is 35-1/2". The sword's handle and the scabbard is made of rosewood. When the blade is hidden in the scabbard the entire sword looks like a regular stick or cane therefore the shirasaya is often reffered to as cane sword.
